A year round consumer favorite silhouette, our Print knit Leyton Tunic Top is garment dyed for rich coloration and is offered in select season relevant hues. This tunic body style retains its’ fashion integrity when designed for use with numerous modern fabrics produced for women’s knit clothing.

FABRIC & CARE

FABRIC CONTENTS: 50% Cotton / 50% Polyester

CARE INSTRUCTIONS: Tianello garments are always prewashed or garment dyed so they are always "Pre-Shrunk". Machine wash warm with like colors, and with mild detergent (do not use bleach, and do not pour fabric softener directly on garment). Tumble dry low. Warm, steam iron (if needed).

For centuries Cotton has been renowned as being the principal clothing fiber of the world, and its’ production is one of the most influential factors in world prosperity and economic stability. A medium strength natural plant fiber, Cotton is cool, absorbent, and can withstand high temperatures. When fabricated, Cotton releases perspiration quickly, allowing the fabric to “breathe”, thus giving it a premium on comfort and wear ability. Because of its’ absorbency, it is easily garment dyed.

The most common fibers used for industrial knitted fabrics are cotton. These knit fabrics provide form-fitted styling since their elasticity permits them to follow the body’s curvature. Our Cotton Blend Knit Jersey here has a soft-textured hand, it drapes beautifully on the body (affording long wearing comfort), is easy to care for, and it is also wonderfully wrinkle resistant. This fabric is also suitable for manufacturing into a variety of body styles designed for women's knit apparel.

Note that this size chart is a close approximation. Since we are garments dyers, each item may vary slightly. Our model Carli is wearing size XS and she is a size 6 with a 34" chest.

Consider then, our Tixati Leyton Tunic Top which was crafted using a premium Cotton Blend Knit Jersey Jacquard fabric chosen for long wearing comfort and minimal care. With costume origins from traditional ballet corps in Europe during the early 1800’s, the elegant tunic design of this silhouette has enjoyed decades of popularity among women of all ages. Attention is drawn to a marvelously soft-textured “damask motif” jacquard (which we call "Tixati") to help express your personal sense of style.

Our pullover Leyton Tunic Top features a band V-neck, ¾ length sleeves, and fitted draping. The thigh length bottom hem has a slightly rounded backside, which is also fashionably longer than the front. Subtle stitching throughout enhances the fashion simplicity of this comfort styled top. Garment dyed richness also adds distinctive character to this versatile silhouette that pairs easily with pants, leggings and designer jeans. Perfect for travel, work or play, this tunic body style makes for a smart investment to any thoughtfully planned wardrobe.

Our “Tixati” jacquard weave draws inspiration from antique textile damask designs which appeared commonly in linens and furnishing fabrics, but are now also used for clothing, particularly women’s fashions. Today, modern computerized looms provide the capability to produce elaborate patterns with a “stenciled lace” effect that emulate the beauty of high-quality damask weaves. Our rendition here features neo-classical botanical imagery in the form of intricately designed floral mandalas outlined by symmetrical acanthus swirls, in pattern repeat. This synergy of superb weaving artistry and classic visuals wonderfully enhances the soft feel of our premium Knit Jersey fabric.
