Vintage sensational 1930's evening gown with capelet in burnt orange and gold lame with a rabbit fur trim. This 2 piece is the epitome of its era and oozes 1930's glamour. The wonderous stories this gown could tell, we are sure ! It has a classic 1930's silhouette and cut on the bias, it features a sleeveless bodice with a soft draped cowl neckline which falls to the floor with draping bias panels. To the back it features a lower v neckline with a trailing scarf tie which softens the shape from the back. The garment is finished with its matching capelet made from the same lame cloth and trimmed in soft rabbit fur trim. It has a fabulous shape and scoops down longer to its central back, it is fully lined and has a matching strap and button fastening for ease of wear. This ensemble would look sensational on any 1930's loving lady for evening celebrations, balls or a trip for cocktails at the savoy!

Good Vintage Condition, flaws to note - Some discolouration to the under arms and v neckline although this adds to its charm as it create an almost orangey / purple hue. A couple of small seam pops which are repairable. The caplet has some marks to its interior ( Not seen when worn). This 2 pc set presents beautifully and is ready to wear.
