Meet Cabbage Leaf, she is an absolutely beautiful and rare 1970s Laura Ashley made in wales prairie dream dress in a stunning shade of green. Like all Laura Ashley dresses she is crafted in heaps of the best quality cotton which is incomparable and is adorned in the sweetest lace trims. She has the classic scoop neck silhouette which is my favourite of all the silhouettes, she also has a super full skirt with flounce, attached waist ties to cinch and beautiful 3/4 length sleeves. One thing I love about this dress is her fade, Laura Ashley dyes are renowned for their fade, and sometimes it is a make or break with the dress, but on this dress, the fades look remarkable, and fully add to the charm, she sort of looks ombre, which I just adore. I know wherever Cabbage Leaf is headed, she is going to be loved..

The Cabbage Leaf has been freshly laundered and is ready to wear. She can safely be washed at home on a cool setting. She is in good vintage condition, she has a few minor signs of wear. As mentioned previously this dress does have fade, see photos for colour differences and she has a faint mark to her lace. This has been reflected in her price, although in my opinion this fade only makes her more beautiful!

This beauty has minimal signs of vintage wear, but please bear in mind that our pieces are true vintage, they’ve been danced in and they have been lived in, so all of our garments will carry your usual signs of vintage wear. Anything that we think is outside of what would class as usual vintage wear, we will state.
