Antique furisode kimono robe - Vintage Japanese ceremonial kimono most likely from the 1940’s based on my research. Extravagant, richly decorated kimono in shades of orange and red embroidered with gold metallic threads and detailed with applied gold paste (kindei-gaki). Extremely detailed and gorgeous floral designs. One size.

In surprisingly great condition for its age – outside is in great shape! Inside lining there is a tiny spot on inside-front-left and a little bit of discoloration on inside bottom of lining. (see photos) Please ask if you have any questions, happy to answer! The bottom hem and collar appear to be hand-stitched, the other panels may have been machine sewn together. Believe the fabric may be rayon.
