A huge 1940’s vintage black cord clutch bag with a large clear lucite ring side handle and zipper top.
This is the biggest size of this style of gimp cord bag that I have ever had. 16" long!

These handmade crocheted purses were made from crochet pattern books in the 1940s. They were very popular.

This one is a heavy cotton gimp cord yarn in deep black.
It has a metal zipper top and the lucite ring is attached and it is to be used as a handle.

The inside is lined and it has one long pocket.

It is 16" x 9 1/2. It could expand to 2 1/2 - 3".
There is plenty of room for necessities.
In excellent condition. If you want to use the lucite ring, I would reinforce the cord for support since the bag is heavy.

The zipper works well and there are no holes etc.
