Dress measures 16” across the shoulders, 38” through the bust, 30” at the waist, 38” through the hips and length is 42”. Sleeves are 7” long from shoulder seam to cuff. Length from top of shoulder to waist seam is 15. 5”. Dress is fitted with metal back zipper, scoop neck with white trim and decorative buttons. Jacket measures 16” across the shoulders, 40” through the bust, 32” at the waist, and length is 21”. Sleeves are 17” long from shoulder seam to cuff. Jacket is cropped and boxy with three quarter length sleeves trimmed in white. Fabric is silk in a medium weight, with full silk lining in both pieces; jacket has metal chain inside bottom hem to keep it in place while worn; a mark of high quality. Label reads “L. S. Ayres ( once the premier department store in Indianapolis)”. Very good condition with no holes or stains on exterior; has slight fading on inside of jacket collar and one slightly mis-matched button on jacket; see close up. I won’t sew it on in case you’d rather look for a better match. Has original belt. True colors are navy with white trim.

**A note on measurements: I like to give measurements on items rather than a numerical size as I find this to be a much more precise way of determining size. If the garment I have measures the same as a garment you have, you can be assured of a good fit. If you have any questions about how I did the measuring just email! PS don't forget YOU must measure at least 1-2 inches smaller than the garment does for comfort! :)
