Do I need gaskets, and are they included?

Gaskets are not included with this manifold. You'll need intake gaskets and port seals rated for your engine's displacement—these are critical to prevent vacuum leaks. Pick up a gasket set when you order.

Can I install this myself, or do I need a shop?

Installation requires removing the air intake, disconnecting fuel injector connectors, and unbolting the old manifold—doable with basic hand tools if you're comfortable working in the engine bay. Take photos before disassembly so reassembly goes smooth.

Will this fix a rough idle or vacuum leak from my old manifold?

If your rough idle is caused by cracks, warping, or failed gaskets in the old manifold, yes—a new one with fresh gaskets will seal properly and restore smooth idle. If the issue is spark plugs or fuel injectors, this won't cure that.
