This katana has been meticulously forged by hand from expert artisans using 1045 high carbon steel. The sharpened blade has a beautifully polished finish with a traditional wave-like hamon. Not only is this sword hand forged, it is also full tang and ready for battle. A ray skin leather handle is wrapped with a black polyester rope in a traditional Japanese style. Zinc alloy and gold finish are used to create the gorgeous dragon-shaped Tsuba and other fittings that adorn this beautiful piece. Included with this collector’s piece is a matching scabbard that features a red lacquer finish and an ornate Chinese dragon created using a water-transfer printing technique. A black sword bag and black wooden stand is also included to keep your sword safe and protected when not in use.
