Will this vanity light work without rewiring?

How do I remove the old visor before installing this one?

The visor rotates down from a pivot rod mounted to the headliner. Rotate it up into the closed position, locate the pivot clips on both ends, and they release by hand or with gentle prying. The new visor installs by sliding the pivot rod back through the mounting brackets.

What if my vanity light doesn't turn on after installation?

Check the bulb inside the visor housing first — it may have come loose during shipping. If the bulb is seated and the light still doesn't work, test the circuit by checking if the dome light responds to the same switch.
