Meet Blue Opal, she is a beautiful thick dark blue velvet dream dress, she is made by one of my favourite boutique labels of the late 60s and early 70s, Quad, although she has sadly lost her labels. Blue Opal has the best silhouette, which is very 30s esque, with a deep cut neckline, beautifully shaped bodice and stunning puff sleeves. She has a super flattering alluring silhouette with an empire waist and a flowing skirt, and when worn looks simply outstanding. Blue Opal is an absolute firm fave from this years Heirlooms collection, and I cannot wait to see where she is headed..

This girl would work on UK sizes 8/10 best, could also work on a UK 6 nicely.

The Blue Opal has been freshly laundered and is ready to wear. Dry Clean Only. She is in good vintage condition, she has a few minor signs of wear.

ALL vintage velvet comes with small signs of wear to the pile of the fabric. This is part of the charm.

This beauty has minimal signs of vintage wear, but please bear in mind that our pieces are true vintage, they’ve been danced in and they have been lived in, so all of our garments will carry your usual signs of vintage wear.
