The Doen,  she is a truly beautiful vintage 1970s cotton prairie dream by Elknot. She is not lined.

The Doen, she is just a beauty. Her fabric is a super soft woven cotton with micro check, in a soft red and white. She has an elasticated neckline which can be worn on and off the shoulders, puff sleeves, a smocked waist, super full skirt and ruffle features. This beauty is truly special, she has a cut reminiscent of Doen dresses, with that touch of bohemian romance. Its very rare to see this cut on a true vintage beauty, making her a truly timeless, forever piece.

This girl is quite flexible in size and would work on UK sizes 6/8/10 nicely, could possibly work on a UK 12 too.

Bust - up to 36" approx, hard to measure due to the cut of her sleeves.

Waist - elasticated up to 30/32"

Length -  57"

The Doen has been freshly laundered and is ready to wear. She can safely be washed at home on a 30 degree setting. She is in good vintage condition.

This beauty has minimal signs of vintage wear, but please bear in mind that our pieces are true vintage, they’ve been danced in and they have been lived in, so all of our garments will carry your usual signs of vintage wear. Anything that we think is outside of what would class as usual vintage wear, we will state.
