These Organ 16x257 needles are made for straight stitch industrial machine models such as a Juki 8700 (555, 8500, 8300), Brother 7100A (755, 7250, 7300), Janome 1600P, Singer 31-15, Bernina 950, Tacsew 5550 and others. If you are unsure what your machine needle size is, check your manual first. These needles have a round shaft so when inserting them into your machine make sure that the needle scarf is facing the correct direction. The SES or BP next to the needle size describes that it is a ball point needle and would be used on knit or stretch fabrics.

The sizes listed are:

• 75/11 - Light weight fabrics
• 75/11 BP - Light weight knit and stretch fabrics
• 90/14 - Medium weight fabrics
• 90/14 BP - Medium weight knit and stretch fabrics
• 100/16 - Medium/Heavy fabrics
• 110/18 - Heavy weight fabrics
• 125/20 - Very thick and heavy fabrics

*Please note that when stepping up to a size 20 needle in the 16x257 it switches to a different model of a 71x1 (16x85). We are also sorry that the person who came up with the needle numbering system was a psychopath.
