Beautifully hand painted with fine attention to detail, the 36 inch long sword features a 27.5 inch blade constructed from carbon steel- the blade comes unsharpened so it is perfectly suitable for costume use. The blade can be detached as in Anime. The handbrake style handle features an actual trigger that can be squeezed- in the anime this is used to control the soldiers Vertical Maneuvering Equipment but here just makes for a nice touch of realism along with the long leather braided tassel at the pommel that is used to connect the users equipment.
