A very sharp point is incorporated into this bowie-styled clip point knife. Razor sharp 440 stainless steel makes the perfect knife edge. We tested the sharpness on several props and the blade remains as sharp and consistent as when we pulled it out of the package. Strike flint or fire-steel with the serrated spine. Conveniently enough, a bottle opener is located above the S-shaped hand guard.

Two lanyard holes make it easy to tie the knife to a pole or strap. A solid block of ABS is fused to the knife and tacked by rivet. At the back of the handle is a solid stainless steel weighted hammer pommel. The hammer pommel is about 20mm wide and could hammer a stake into the ground. The uses for the US Army Extrema are endless. Handle is flat black in color.
