Does this bracket need fasteners, and do they come with it?

Fasteners are not included. Use the existing holes in your bumper assembly and secure with OEM-equivalent bolts. Tightening specs are in your vehicle service manual.

Can I install this myself?

Yes. Remove the bumper cover, unbolt the old bracket, slide the new one in place, and bolt it down. Basic hand tools only — no welding or special equipment required.

Will this need paint or prep before installation?

The bracket is hidden behind your bumper cover, so paint is not necessary. Install as-is if appearance behind the bumper doesn't matter to you; paint or coat it only if you want added corrosion protection.
