The organisation now works with over 300 women artisans in the villages around Ranthambhore Tiger Reserve. The artisans also form part of the board of DR. Dastkar’s distinctive Tiger motif & use of trees, birds & animal imagery demonstrates the communities concern for the natural environment & in particular, the endangered Tiger species found in the area. DR also has an effluent treatment plant on campus that treats pollutants discharged from the dyeing and printing activities.
