Such a pretty late ‘90s/early 2000s skirt by Miss Me. Elastic waistband, black velvet from waist to the top of the knees, then a band of brocade ribbon, then a layer of gauzy fabric with a raised velvet floral design and handkerchief hem. Depending on your height, this could fall at either your ankles or mid-calf. This skirt does have half of a price tag affixed (although the size on the tag doesn't match the skirt size). It has no signs of wear, but there are two small horizontal lines in the velvet waistband (photo 10); I don't know what they are from. Size Medium with the following approximate flat lay measurements:

Waist: 14 unstretched; can probably stretch at least 4" more

Waist to top of brocade band: 15.75"

Hips: 16.5” unstretched

Length to longest point of the handkerchief hem: 34"
