It would have been unusual for one to 'walk out' without a hat of some sort in the 1940s. These days we reserve hats for the races or a wedding. The perfect topper for any outfit and super elegant - once you have worn this beauty a few times you will understand why the hat was so revered.

Although berets were common in the 30s and 40s - styles were often developed into elaborate styles to emulate hats but created in coordinating fabrics. This style is based on the classic 1940s beret, but we've left the design simple so you can customise with your own brooches and pins.

Made by a skilled and experienced local seamstress and friend of Foxy - these are limited edition and the polar opposite to mass produced.
