Do I need to drain the washer fluid reservoir before installation?

Yes. Empty your reservoir completely before removing the old pump — washer fluid will spill otherwise. Once the new pump is installed and sealed, refill and test the spray pattern.

Will this pump work with my existing hoses and connectors?

This assembly is designed for Rio sedans and uses factory connectors and hose ports. Verify your hoses are in good condition before installing — old or cracked tubing should be replaced to avoid leaks.

What if the pump doesn't spray after installation?

Check that the electrical connector is fully seated and the fluid reservoir is filled. Air in the lines is common on first startup — run the pump for a few seconds to bleed. If it still doesn't flow, the pump motor may be defective — contact support for a return.
