The Omega Megasonic watch represents a fascinating chapter in watchmaking history. Introduced in 1973, the Megasonic marked Omega's foray into the cutting-edge world of tuning fork technology, pushing forward from the traditional balance wheel mechanisms. This timepiece utilized a unique 720 Hz tuning fork movement licensed from Bulova, setting it apart from conventional watches of the era.
