Model wearing size Small Model typically would wear a size small in a A-line pleated skirts with an elastic waistband due to having a smaller waist 
waistband stretch is limited would suggest the garment be pulled over your head if you are bottom heavy 
Do not size down if your midsection is your problem area

**skirt has lining with no stretch skirt would be way more size down friendly if the lining is cut out the pleated fabric isn't thin at all so cutting out the lining won't be a problem

** kea actually suggest doing so if you want the skirt to feel as free flowing and comfortable as it appears... lining is not free flowing like the pleated portion of the skirt  

**Model wouldn't suggest exceeding any of her measurements in the size SMALL in this garment
